Ciel Cosplay WIP

This is my cosplay. I did NOT make it, I bought it wholesale, lol (I'm sure the super nitpicky people can tell). I cosplay for two reasons: character acting and fanboying. Some people cosplay to make things. I am not one of them, LOL.

This is the outfit Elizabeth gave to Ciel.

This is a WIP for the following reasons:

1. I had people get REALLY UNREASONABLY ANGRY at me for not wearing a wig (that is my real hair). I thought they were being stupid, but I might get a wig anyway.
2. There is a hat to this costume and it's embarrassingly bad. I will either modify it, remake it, or order just the hat from a more skilled craftsman.
3. I do need to make some minor tailoring adjustments to make it fit more properly but overall it's a good fit.
4. The bow. Something needs to be done about it but I'm not sure what yet. It's somewhat awkward. For one, it pins to the shirt, which drags the collar forward, so I will be sewing it to a ribbon so it can be tied on. Second, it feels a bit wide. I may adjust the size a bit.
5. Still need earrings and his gold ring... meh. I bothered to wear his blue ring and you can't see it in any of the photos lol.
6. Kind of want a cane too LOL.

That's about it. He normally wears a black eye patch with this, which I do have (I put a REALLLLLY long ribbon on mine to be cute). I just recently got this white one and really love it, though.

Also yes my lip ring is in. I may wear it during cosplay. I know this will make purists super angry. IDGAF CIEL LOOKS GOOD WITH A LIP RING (I also have a cartilage piercing on my right ear which you can also see lol).
